Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are the terms and conditions upon which Amanda Ruiz trading as HUMM Alpaca Knitwear (‘the Supplier’) makes her goods available to you and by placing an order with the Supplier which is accepted by the Supplier (‘the Contract’), you are confirming that you have read and are accepting these terms and conditions at the date the order is placed and that they prevail over any other terms unless agreed otherwise.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in £ sterling and include UK VAT at the appropriate rate. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted and shall be payable by you.

The prices and delivery charges are payable by you in advance when you place an order with the Supplier.

The Supplier accepts payment by PayPal – please note that you do not need a Pay Pal account in order to pay for the goods.  We also accept debit/credit card payments via secure online payment specialists Secure Trading. In addition, you can pay via a debit or credit card over the telephone.

Risk and Ownership

Risk and ownership in the goods shall pass from the Supplier to you when the goods are delivered to the address specified by you when placing an order.

Delivery Times

Please allow 2-3 working days from the date payment has cleared for delivery for your order.

If you require the items sooner, please get in contact to sales@hummshop.com and the Supplier will see if alternative arrangements can be made.

Time of delivery shall not be of the essence.

Upon placing the order, we will contact you to advise expected delivery leadtimes.

Delivery Costs

The delivery cost for mainland UK is £4.95 (this is Royal Mail RECORDED First Class delivery). You are required to provide the Supplier with a delivery address where someone will be to take receipt of the package when placing an order. If you do not provide the Supplier with an address as required you acknowledge that this may delay delivery of the goods.

For UK Next Day Delivery, the charge is £9.95 on orders received before 12pm.

For shipping costs outside of the UK, the price will automatically come up depending upon your region.

All items offered on the Supplier’s website are subject to availability. To purchase any of the items on the Supplier’s website, click the “Add to Basket” button shown on each product page. Please note price variations according to size or age on certain items. When you place an order to purchase a product by clicking the button “Order Now”, the Supplier will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to the Supplier to purchase a product which is accepted by the Supplier when the Supplier sends e-mail confirmation to you that the Supplier has accepted your order or dispatched the product to you.

If an item is out of stock at the time of ordering and payment has been taken the Supplier shall offer you the choice an alternative item or a full refund.

Cancellation / Returns

You have the right to cancel your order for any reason within seven working days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and return them for a full refund. Should you cancel the contract the Supplier shall then refund you the price you have paid for the goods. It is your responsibility to give notice of your wish to cancel within this cancellation period by email or letter. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods. The goods must be returned unused and in the same condition as when the Supplier posted them to be delivered. The goods must be returned at your expense and the Supplier recommends for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service. Should you order, details of this right will be sent to you with your confirmatory e-mail.

Garment Care and Information

All the garments are hand-made in Peru. Some imperfections may occur which is typical of handcrafted products. Some items may vary slightly in colour from the photos. We recommend placing your alpaca garment in a pillow case and washing at a wool setting. Do not tumble dry the clothes, lay them flat to dry.
